Web 3D Flyer with data from city of Roma and city
of Mantova to consult, and surf on the maps and then to verify the
geometries inserted with the 2D Web-GIS application:
This is an on-line demo of a complete
2D and 3D Integrated Web-GIS. This
demo program is extremely innovative, and
allows you to appraise the functionalities of some of the
components of DbMAP.
The demo is composed of two distinct on-line applications
connected with the same centralised database. The two applications
are:
DbMAP 3D Flyer, which processes
in real-time the bidimensional data from DbMAP Web 3D Runtime
Server and the tridimensional ones coming from DbMAP Web
3D for a real-time rendering;
DbMAP Applets, which processes
the bidimensional data coming from DbMAP ASJ Runtime Server.
The architecture of this sample is based
on a centralised Oracle Spatial database, ecw raster images
and on a 3D dataset coming from a DTM file obtained with
DbMAP 3D Builder. Clients connect to the geodatabase
via HTTP protocol.
